A Spring For New Beginnings
Is it me or is the grass greener this year and the blossoms more vivid and enduring – or perhaps it is a season with omen that we have really been looking forward to after a particularly oppressive twelve months?
This is a great season, weather so far very encouraging. The timing for opening the “Pop-Up” inner city could not have been better. Like most Cantabrians I visited on the first weekend (and on my bike!) and was most impressed. We need to thank and congratulate all those who have had a hand in conception to completion – it gives us all great hope. And Canterbury the chance to show its true colours. We are sure to have a grand carnival next week with the best A & P show in the country and the greatest racing festival.
Whilst not much rebuilding has started YET Massive clearance and clean up has been done and I am sure that patience to allow the very best and long term decision to be made will be rewarded in the end. And we do need to think “long term.” The old model inner city was no longer working and I am excited that we now have a chance to create something cutting edge, relevant and futuristic. So wheels are starting to turn and ultimately those wheels will be unstoppable – so much good to be delivered!
The demand for good real estate is understandably very strong and I know will continue. Through experience and research and contact with the right consultants we, at Grenadier are gathering a vast pool of knowledge and are available to help. Stock continues to be in short supply and I would love to talk with any of you contemplating making a move in the near future. Timing, method of sale, avenues of marketing and strategies are all vital to you realising the best result.
Imagine putting all this ahead of RWC.
Well done Richie and the team, you have made us proud. But it wasn’t just what happened on the field that made this the best tournament ever. New Zealand did itself proud. I am sure that the country will reap enormous benefits in the years ahead.
Meantime good luck with your punting – on or off the water.
Regards,
Ally

All the lenders are offering a discounted floating rate of .20% for 12 months. There is also a lender prepared to offer bridging finance with a 6 month mortgage repayment holiday while the purchaser waits for the Government payout.
